Built around the confirmed duty
The official source describes a 35 kV dry-type transformer using epoxy resin as the main insulation material. High- and low-voltage windings are made with copper wire or foil, vacuum cast in epoxy resin and cured into a high-strength structure.
Working principle
Electromagnetic induction transfers power between the high- and low-voltage windings. The solid cast-resin insulation and air-cooling arrangement avoid the use of transformer oil.
Power and transmission equipment selection is based on power or torque, speed, load profile, service factor, electrical supply, mounting, environment, efficiency and integration requirements.
Core features
- Vacuum-cast epoxy insulation
- Copper wire or foil high- and low-voltage windings
- High-strength cured winding structure
