Built around the confirmed duty
The official source lists on-load and off-circuit tap-changing power-transformer configurations across 6, 10, 35 and 110 kV voltage classes. It gives a capacity range of 2,000 to 50,000 kVA and describes automatic output-voltage adjustment for on-load regulating configurations.
Working principle
The transformer changes voltage through electromagnetic induction. A selected tap-changing arrangement adjusts the effective winding turns ratio either under load or during de-energized maintenance.
Power and transmission equipment selection is based on power or torque, speed, load profile, service factor, electrical supply, mounting, environment, efficiency and integration requirements.
