Hydraulic Shear is supplied for a defined metallurgical line position. Load, motion, temperature, wear conditions, drive, controls and mounting geometry are confirmed from the customer process data and drawings.
Working principle
A hydraulic actuator drives the cutting mechanism through a controlled stroke to shear the specified hot or cold product. Blade geometry, force, clearance and cycle are selected from the material section and process conditions.
Metallurgical equipment selection is based on feed composition, production rate, process temperature, energy balance, refractory or wetted materials, emission control and plant integration.
