Select around the project duty
Continuous Casting Roll is selected to the line position, supported load, temperature, rotational speed, cooling arrangement and wear conditions. Shaft ends, bearings, surface build-up and dimensional tolerances must match the existing equipment drawing.
Working principle
The roll rotates with the strand, strip or line material and transfers the required support or guiding load through its body and bearing interfaces. Surface condition, cooling and alignment are selected to control wear and maintain the required line geometry.
Metallurgical equipment selection is based on feed composition, production rate, process temperature, energy balance, refractory or wetted materials, emission control and plant integration.
