Slide Gate Mechanism is supplied for a defined metallurgical line position. Load, motion, temperature, wear conditions, drive, controls and mounting geometry are confirmed from the customer process data and drawings.
Working principle
Aligned refractory plates move relative to each other to open, regulate or close the molten-metal passage. The drive and mechanism maintain clamping and controlled movement under the defined casting conditions.
Metallurgical equipment selection is based on feed composition, production rate, process temperature, energy balance, refractory or wetted materials, emission control and plant integration.
