The mould oscillation device provides controlled reciprocating movement for square- or rectangular-billet continuous casters. Working principle
The drive moves the mould assembly through a controlled vertical oscillation cycle while the strand is withdrawn. The selected waveform and motion parameters support the casting process and are coordinated with casting speed and mould lubrication.
Metallurgical equipment selection is based on feed composition, production rate, process temperature, energy balance, refractory or wetted materials, emission control and plant integration.
