Built around the confirmed duty
The 2026 manual identifies a wind power transformer substation as the connection between the wind-turbine generator system and the power grid. Source-listed sections include an input terminal, transformer, control unit, protection system and output terminal, with the final design selected to the wind farm and grid requirements.
Working principle
Power from the wind-turbine generator passes through input switching, is transformed to the grid collection voltage, monitored and protected, and exported through the output circuit breaker.
New-energy equipment selection requires the rated electrical or process duty, operating profile, grid or process interface, site climate, thermal management, communication and destination certification.
Core features
- Integrated wind-turbine step-up connection
- Real-time voltage, current and power monitoring described in the manual
- Overvoltage, overcurrent and islanding protection functions
