Working principle
Heat is transferred to or recovered from the process stream under controlled temperature, residence time and atmosphere. Heating method, refractory or heat-transfer surface, controls and emissions scope depend on process duty.
Metallurgical equipment selection is based on feed composition, production rate, process temperature, energy balance, refractory or wetted materials, emission control and plant integration.
