Working principle
A rotating or positive-displacement pumping element transfers energy to the liquid and creates the pressure difference needed to move it through the system. Final hydraulic type and seal arrangement are selected from flow, head, medium and operating conditions.
Process equipment selection should start from the process datasheet, design pressure and temperature, medium properties, capacity, metallurgy, control philosophy, utility conditions and governing code.
